Terms of Use
Effective Date: October 28, 2026
Welcome to Turnemin. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Turnemin (“Turnemin,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using Turnemin, creating an account, joining a tournament, or creating or administering a tournament, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the service.
1. TURNEMIN SERVICE
Turnemin is a golf tournament scoring and communication platform that allows golfers to participate in shared tournaments, including tournaments in which participants may play different golf courses, tees, locations, or rounds.
The service may include tournament creation and administration, invitations, player profiles, course and tee information, Handicap Index information, score submission, calculated tournament results, leaderboards, tournament communications, Press Room features, photographs, audio statements, and other related functionality.
Turnemin is intended to facilitate recreational golf tournament administration and scoring. It is not an official governing body for golf, handicap administration, tournament certification, or rules adjudication.
2. ACCOUNTS
You may be required to create an account to use some or all features of Turnemin.
You agree to provide accurate information and to maintain the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account.
You may not impersonate another person, create an account using another person's identity without authorization, or use the service for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
3. TOURNAMENT ORGANIZERS
Users who create or administer tournaments (“Organizers”) are responsible for managing their tournaments, including invitations, participation approvals, tournament rules, dates, rounds, corrections, and finalization.
Organizers may have authority within the application to approve or decline participation requests, remove or restore participants, unlock rounds for correction, establish tournament-specific rules, and finalize tournament results.
Participants acknowledge that tournament administration decisions made by an Organizer may affect participation and tournament results.
Turnemin does not independently adjudicate disputes between tournament participants and Organizers.
4. PLAYER INFORMATION AND HANDICAP INDEX
Users are responsible for providing accurate player information, including their Handicap Index when applicable.
Turnemin may use the Handicap Index supplied by the golfer to calculate a Course Handicap and tournament scoring information.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Turnemin does not independently verify a golfer's Handicap Index with the USGA, GHIN, a golf club, handicap authority, or other third-party handicap provider.
Users are responsible for ensuring that the Handicap Index they provide is accurate and appropriate for the applicable round or tournament.
5. GOLF COURSE AND TEE INFORMATION
Turnemin may provide golf course and tee information obtained from third-party sources, including OpenGolfAPI, or information entered or verified by users.
Course information may include course name, location, tee name, par, Course Rating, Slope Rating, yardage, or similar information.
Golf course information can be incomplete, outdated, unavailable, or inaccurate. Golfers are responsible for reviewing and verifying the course and tee information used for their round before submitting a score.
If course or tee information is missing or incorrect, the application may permit a golfer to enter or correct information for that round.
Turnemin does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of course information supplied by OpenGolfAPI, golfers, golf courses, or other third parties.
6. SCORES AND CALCULATED RESULTS
Users are responsible for accurately entering their gross scores and reviewing the information associated with their rounds before submission.
Turnemin may calculate Course Handicap, net score, net-to-par results, standings, and other tournament information using information provided by the golfer, tournament settings, and course or tee information.
Calculated results depend on the accuracy of the underlying information. Incorrect Handicap Index, Course Rating, Slope Rating, par, tee selection, gross score, or other information may produce an incorrect result.
Users should review submitted scores and tournament results and notify the Organizer if they believe a correction is required.
7. CORRECTIONS, DISPUTES, AND FINAL RESULTS
Turnemin may provide Organizers with tools to permit corrections to previously submitted rounds.
Tournament participants are responsible for raising scoring or participation concerns with the Organizer in a timely manner.
The Organizer is responsible for determining whether a correction should be permitted and for administering tournament-specific disputes.
Once a tournament is finalized, Turnemin may preserve its standings and champion information as part of the historical tournament record.
Turnemin does not guarantee that tournament disputes will be resolved to the satisfaction of every participant.
8. TOURNAMENT RULES
Organizers may establish rules applicable to their tournaments.
Participants are responsible for reviewing and following tournament-specific rules as well as any golf rules or procedures the Organizer chooses to apply.
Turnemin provides technology for administering and scoring tournaments but does not determine whether a golfer complied with the Rules of Golf or other competition requirements unless a particular feature expressly states otherwise.
9. USER CONTENT AND COMMUNICATIONS
Users may be able to submit content through Turnemin, including profile photographs, scorecard photographs, Handicap Index screenshots, Press Room comments, audio statements, tournament descriptions, tournament rules, and other content (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content you submit, subject to the rights necessary for Turnemin to operate the service.

We may remove or restrict access to User Content when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law, or protect the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Turnemin and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the service.
This includes, where permitted by law, losses arising from inaccurate course information, user-entered information, scoring errors, tournament disputes, loss of data, service interruptions, third-party services, or decisions made by tournament Organizers or participants.
To the extent liability cannot legally be excluded, liability will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. NO GAMBLING OR WAGERING SERVICE

We may update these Terms as Turnemin develops or as legal, operational, or technical requirements change.
When material changes are made, we will update the Effective Date and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
